Back To Basics: The Go-To Jean

I just couldn’t have a Back to Basics Series without including this next item.

The Go-To Jean.

The garment you’ll make memories in. The ones that you’ll fall-in-love in. The ones that get you through those nights when you have too much to drink, and pizza sauce is smeared all over them (but your ok because you know they pull through in the wash).

I think what makes us so attached to our favourite pair of jeans is that is so damn hard to find good ones, and once you have them, it’ll take a militia to pry them out of your hands.

My two faves in my closet are from Lucky Brand and JOE’S Jeans. Honestly, both were a flipping steal at my local WINNERS. I was shocked when I found them (that’s how hard it is to find good jeans) and looking back I should’ve played the lottery because I was so lucky!

With regards to the battle of the denim, and having a few people ask how I find my perfect pair, I am going to put an article together on what to look out for when buying jeans. I’ll be diving into change rooms to come up with some tips so keep a lookout for my post, appropriately titled, The Denim Dilemma!
